NAIDOC Week
During week 10 students celebrated NAIDOC week by completing a range of fun, engaging activities.
On Tuesday 27th June, students enjoyed a great morning of NAIDOC activities with students from Byford Secondary College, ‘Follow The Dream’ program. Students and teachers from Byford Secondary College led our classes through a range of special activities to learn more about Indigenous Culture and Traditions.
On Wednesday 28th June, our NAIDOC Week celebrations continued with a special assembly from Rm 5 as our Year 1 & Pre-Primary class showcased the 6 Noongar seasons for our school. It was fantastic when the whole school were invited to join in and sing together.
As a part of this special celebration assembly, students & staff were invited to wear their NAIDOC shirts & NAIDOC colours to highlight NAIDOC Celebrations.
