On Wednesday 7th June, students travelled to Serpentine Pony Club to compete in our annual Interschool Cross Country event.

The top six runners from years 3 to 6 represented our school and competed in the cross country event, running 1000metres and 1500metres.

It was a fantastic event with all students showing commitment and resilience to challenge their bodies and complete the endurance race.

Thank you to all those parents who were able to travel to Serpentine and attend the competition. It was great to build atmosphere, cheer and support our children. This helped make the event more enjoyable.

At the end of competition, the results were very close between four of our five local schools. Byford Primary School placed a strong third in the overall competition. We are all very proud of our competitors!

Congratulations to all our Byford competitors, as every student who crossed the line and completed the race received points for our school.

An extra superstar effort must go to 6 of our competitors who placed in the top 3.

Year 6 Girls – Ava D - Runner Up Champion Girl, in 2nd place!

Year 6 Boys – Ashton G – 3rd place Runner Up!
