Buongiorno a tutti! Part of the students’ learning in Italian involves viewing or reading imaginative texts and then creating different versions of those texts using modelled language. This term, the year 3 students in Rooms 14 and 7 have read “Il Piccolo Bruce Maisazio,” The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Through this book, they have learnt numbers, colours, fruit and how to write something in the plural form. They have now made their own versions that you can see below. Rooms 9 and 10, have been learning about, “Il Quartiere,” The Neighbourhood. They have watched a video of a girl called Elisa take them on a tour of Leederville. After learning the appropriate language structures, they have created PowerPoints giving a tour of their own neighbourhood. They have done such a great job!
