Hi everyone
Week 9 has jump started and I hope that we are all rolling along okay.
This week, back in June 1884 were the first ever roller coaster rides. They were 5 cents a ride at Coney Island in New York. Its’ speed was 9 kph. That was fast in the day. People loved it and by 1900 there were roller coaster rides all over the country. Today the average roller coaster ride speed is around 100 kph.
No one could have known how fast and different roller coaster rides would become nor our modern way of life? I have heard people refer to their life as a roller coaster ride, fast, up and down and just plain crazy. Life has changed so much. We don’t know where it is taking us, but it definitely has its’ good moments. Let’s hold on to those good moments to continue our momentum to help change the world for the better by our actions and way of life. We can’t yet see the effect of our present actions, but we can certainly live in hope of what they may bring about. Food for thought.
Keep on rolling on and have a smooth week everyone. Take care and keep safe.
