Welcome to the classroom!

Earlier this term Room 1 welcomed some decapod crustaceans to our classroom; better known as Krazy Krabs! Thanks to a generous donation by the Charlton Family, we have adopted five entertaining and cheeky hermit crabs into our Room 1 family to enrich our learning environment. The students collaborated to name our new pets, Turbo, Ice-Cream, Charlton, Mrs Peggs and Kraby Patty. Classroom pets have been proven to stimulate student learning; provide students with authentic and interactive learning experiences; a sense of responsibility whilst nurturing caring for something else; and improve mental health.
