Edu-Dance Concert, Open Afternoon & Book Fair
On Monday 20th September, we will see the culmination of each classes hard work and practice over this term in preparation for our Edu-Dance Concert.
As the concert is on a Monday this year the afternoon program will be as follows:
From 2.45pm – 3.00pm teaching will finish to allow the children to get a drink, have a small snack, go to the toilet and get into their costumes.
At the 3.00pm when the siren goes for the end of the school day the students will assemble and go as a class to their seating area on the blue quadrangle, ready for a prompt start at 3.10pm. Those students who are not participating in the Edu-Dance concert will be released to go home as usual.
At the conclusion of the concert the new school captains will be announced. Then students will be released to find their parents. Once teachers have returned to their classrooms the Open Afternoon will commence. Parents are invited to visit the classrooms and the Library Book Fair with their children to look at what they have been doing over the year.
The Book Fair will also be running Tuesday. Details are on the Scholastic pamphlet that went home last week.
Just before 5.00pm an announcement will be made over the PA that the open afternoon is almost at an end and the school is closing.
We look forward to a great afternoon and hope to see everyone there.
