Falcons Basketball Club - Byford

Falcons Byford Basketball Club is looking for new players aged from 4 years old onwards. We are a very popular club with nearly 200 members and are now looking to increase our teams for next term. We are an inclusive club and welcome players of all abilities and experience.

The Shire is looking to host a free Basic Auslan course, this course comprises of 8 x 2hour sessions delivered by Access Plus WA Deaf, participants are expected to attend all sessions.

The first round will be delivered beginning in October 2021 and depending on interest levels and the success of the first course, future courses may also be offered.

It is anticipated that the first round will be delivered on Monday nights 6-8pm commencing Monday 11 October. If this time is not suitable but you are still interested, please submit your EOI with preferred time details.

Please submit your expression of interest to info@sjshire.wa.gov.au or in person at the Shire office by 5pm Friday 24 September to be considered for the first round.

Participants will be contacted with updated details and confirmed places by 5pm Monday 4 October. EOIs for unsuccessful participants will be kept on file for future opportunities.

Registration Notice:

Roleystone Theatre invites Junior and Youth Performers to apply for their upcoming workshops. Each age group workshop will run throughout Term 3 and culminates in performances of a Disney musical on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 9th and 10th October 2021. 

Places are limited and although no experience is needed, commitment to all rehearsals and performances is mandatory.

Better Health Program

The Better Health Program is a healthy lifestyle program that focuses on eating habits, physical activity and behaviour change. The program has been created by nutrition, exercise and psychology professionals. It is for children aged 7-13 who are above a healthy weight and encourages the whole family to form lasting, healthy habits.
