In Literacy Room 4 have been learning about the story of The Gingerbread Man. We have used pictures to map the story and have had lots of fun retelling the story and sequencing the events using dramatic play. As part of our Design and Technology lessons, Room 4 designed and created their own bridge to help the Gingerbread Man cross the river. Students also enjoyed getting creative with our cooking experience and decorating their own Gingerbread Man cookie. Finally, we created our own version of the story … The Pancake Man!
