The Better Beginnings Program is an incentive designed to promote and inspire a love of literacy, learning and books within the home. It is a Western Australian program offering families the opportunity to connect with books through free reading packs, with the intention of engaging children in rich literacy-based interactions and encouraging families to connect through reading, talking, singing, writing, and playing together daily. The Mundijong Library will be visiting our school on Tuesday 16 March at 2.45pm (Blue Group) and Thursday 18 March at 2.45pm (Yellow Group) to present the Kindergarten Children with their Better Beginnings Packs. Parents are welcome to attend for the 15minute presentation.
