End of Year Concert – Wednesday 11th December

The End of Year concert is fast approaching and the students are busy preparing their items. It will be an Australiana theme this year. The concert times are 6:00pm – 8:30pm and will be held at the Byford Secondary College in the gym. Students need to be at the venue and seated at 5:45pm so we can commence at 6pm.

We hope to see you there to share in the students’ performances and to celebrate our many award winners.

Our students will be transported by bus to BSC during the day, on Wednesday for a practice on the stage. A gold coin donation towards covering the cost of the bus is greatly appreciated.

End of Year P&C Raffle

The P&C will be drawing the raffle at the end of year concert. In the past we have had some fantastic prizes. The P&C are calling for donations for the raffle. These can be placed in the baskets at the classrooms.

Food Hampers

Our local community is once again calling for donations of food items (non-perishable) that will be packaged in a hamper and donated to local families in need. If you can provide any items, please leave them at the front office or in the basket in the library.

Planning for 2020

Planning for 2020 is well under way. As the area that Byford PS caters for is growing, it is very important that we are aware of students who will be leaving and any new enrolments. This will enable us to plan the correct number of classes for 2020.

I would very much appreciate if you could please let the front office know if your child/ren will not be returning to Byford PS in 2020. If you know of any families moving into the area, please encourage them to come and enrol their child/ren as soon as possible.
